MIMS powered by Automechanika Moscow Contributes to Productive Partnership of Russian and International Car Manufacturers

Moscow International Automotive Exhibition MIMS powered by Automechanika Moscow will take place at Crocus Expo from 25 to 29 August 2010. This event is organised by ITE, a leading exhibition operator in terms of the number of trade shows run in Russia, and Messe Frankfurt, one of the largest world exhibition groups.

Alexander Shtalenkov, General Director of ITE, said: “Motor Show/MIMS for many years has been the key business forum aimed at specialists of the industry. The exhibition provides for development in Russia of high-tech production facilities for manufacturing of car components and spare parts, contributes to productive partnership of Russian car manufacturers and developers and international automotive industrial groups, which, in turn, stimulates development of new facilities and modernization of existing plants in Russia”.

This year the exhibition is attended by more than 600 companies from all over the world. They include Russian and international industry leaders: AKOM, BAU MOTOR CORPORATION, BILIGHT, Borsky Glass Factory, GK TADEM, SKAD, HORS, ABRO, Banner Batterien, BERG, CONTITECH, Dayco, DENSO, Dukon, Dunfan, ERA S.p.A., Eurasia, Exist, FEDERAL MOGUL, Finwhale, IHR, MAHLE, MAGNETTI  MARELLI, MANN+HUMMEL, MUTLU, PISTON, Ravenol Russland, Schaeffler Russland (LUK, FAG, INA), VALEO, WEEN, ZIC and many others.

International part of the exhibition also features national stands of France, Italy, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, China and Thailand. European pavilion has been organised for the first time at MIMS powered by Automechanika Moscow.

Traditionally, German national pavilion will work at the exhibition comprising such companies as IMS, Flennor, MEKRA Lang, Bergkraft Automotive, SUPLEX, JB GERMANOIL, Hella Gutmann Solutions, IPD, IKA Industrie- und Kraftfahrzeugausrüstung.

This year TM WEEN company is the General Sponsor of the exhibition; this company is engaged in design, development and promotion of car components by TM WEEN jointly with Toyota Tsusho Corporation. Under the brand name WEEN they produce spark plugs, brake pads, filters, windscreen wipers, shock absorbers and much others.

International «Automotive Assembling и Auto Components» Forum will take place alongside the exhibition on August 25 to 27. Specialists will discuss such important issues, as Russia’s integration in the global automotive market, anti-crisis strategies of automobile industry development in Russia, Kaluga and Samara automobile clusters, customs and technical regulation and intellectual property. Association of European Business (AEB) is a co-organiser of the Forum. The Forum is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.
