Autostat – Russian truck market has kept growing in April 2018. According to Autostat data, 7096 new trucks have been sold in Russia in April 2018, following an increase of 20,2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 32% share in total in April. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2274 units, which indicates a 3,2% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 783 vehicles (+27,5% y/y). The top-three is completed by Volvo with 547 units (+44,7% y/y). Scania (419 units, +43,5%) and Mercedes-Benz (394, +14,9%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.

KAMAZ 43118 was again the best-selling truck model in April 2018 with 614 units (+25,3% y/y) followed by KAMAZ 5490 (585 units, +63,0% y/y) and GAZON Next (509 units, +22,1% y/y).
