October 17, 2015, Kortrijk (Belgium), ITEMF Expo and Busworld International signed a partnership agreement to cooperate for the organization of BUSWORLD RUSSIA powered by AUTOTRANS trade show in Moscow. The first edition of BUSWORLD RUSSIA powered by AUTOTRANS will take place in October 25-27, 2016 at the Crocus Expo venue.

The exhibition will be held every two years, alternating with the International Commercial Vehicle Auto Show COMTRANS. The show will be organized by ITEMF Expo, a member of Messe Frankfurt and ITE Group.

BUSWORLD RUSSIA powered by AUTOTRANS shall enjoy official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, IRU (International Road Transport Union), RSPP (Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs), RAS (Russian Motor Transport Union), ROSAVTOTRANS, Association of Russian Automakers (OAR), the Moscow City Department of Multicultural Policy, Interregional Cooperation and Tourism of Moscow, Association of European Businesses (AEB).

The event will provide an opportunity to see the latest instances of buses and components of the largest domestic and foreign manufacturers: KAMAZ, NEFAZ, SCANIA, «GAZ Group», MAZ, Volgabus, KING LONG, Yutong,
Webasto, Continental Automotive Rus, VOITH, Continental Tyres Rus, Camozzi Pnevmatika, RABA AXLE and others.

Among its exhibit items «GAZ group» will present the medium-sized low floor bus for urban transportation LiAZ – 429260 as well as the new make of the bus Vector Next designed for school busing.
KAMAZ is to demonstrate at once several specialties: the passenger coach NEFAZ 5299-30-42, the 100% low floor passenger citybus NEFAZ 5299-40-51 (gas-powered), the large-sized electric omnibus KAMAZ-6282 (with a new interior and exterior) and the passenger suburban coach Bravis with the WEICHAI engine.
SCANIA will present the following items on its display cases: the tourist coach Scania Touring and the intercity bus LiAZ-5251 «Voyage» (with the chassis by Scania).
Volgabus will show the latest models of pilotless buses to the audience.
Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) is to demonstrate the buses MAZ-203 with the top-class engines by YMZ and MAZ-231 to the visitors of the trade show.
KING LONG will present its most popular tourist coach and the gas-powered variant of the bus XMQ6900 with the engine operating on the nonpolluting fuel – black damp.
Another Chinese manufacturer -  Yutong – is to demonstrate intercity buses Yutong ZK6122H9 and Yutong ZK6938HB9 among its items.

The representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Department for Multicultural Policy, Interregional Cooperation and Tourism of Moscow, the Transport Union of Moscow, the Motor Transport Unity of Russia (MTUR), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow, the State Unitary Enterprise «Passengermotortrans» (St. Petersburg), Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization «Unified Directorate of Transport», as well as the domestic and foreign manufacturers of buses and bus haulers will be the speakers at the «Busworld Academy and the congress of IRU» platform.
The core audience for the business program amounts to the representatives of municipal corporations, tour operators, insurance and leasing companies, passenger transportation companies, bus manufacturers, financial bodies and the media.
As most of the speakers represent foreign companies from the 8 countries, the participants of the business program will be afforded a simultaneous interpreting from English.

The 16th annual award “Commercial Vehicle of the Year in Russia” will become another significant add-on to the show. Through the years, the contest has gained the reputation of a scheduled event for the industry and will once again announce the nominees and the winners in such categories as “Truck of the year”, “Van of the year”,  «Citybus of the year”, “Coach of the year” as well as the «Rout bus/Rout taxi of the year”.

The general media partner of the exhibition – international specialized commercial transport magazine ComTrans will support the show with a series of in-depth coverages in its coming editions.
