From automotive parts to video electronics: the best solutions for the Russian transport complex at MIMS Automechanika Moscow 2015


19th International exhibition of automotive parts, components, car maintenance equipment and products MIMS Automechanika Moscow will be held in Expocenter CEC ("Vystavochnaya" Metro Station) on August 24 - 27. The Exhibition Organisers are ITE Group establishing itself as the leader at the market of exhibiting services in Russia and Messe Frankfurt RUS, the Russian subdivision of the largest international exhibition company Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

MIMS Automechanika Moscow has been rightfully considered as the main event in the industry of automotive parts, components, car maintenance equipment and products. Two exhibition projects important for the market such as Motor Show/MIMS and Automechanika Moscow were combined five years ago. Due to the synergy of two brands held at single ground the industry has got a unique platform for demonstration of the best products in all sectors of car industry (components, suspensions, body parts, transmissions, car electronics, car electric equipment, garage equipment, car chemicals and car oils, washing equipment).

As Nikolai Asaul, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, noted in his speech of welcome addressed to the organisers, exhibitors and guests "the Russian car service market has been developed actively with the development of the transport complex. It is an extensive segment of the national economy development of which directly depends on availability of quality equipment, spare parts, combustibles and lubricants as well as accessories. At MIMS Automechanika Moscow 2015 visitors will be provided with an opportunity to get acquainted with new products in the car industry visually, to take required opinion and to conclude contracts."

In 2014 All-Russian Exhibition Rating MIMS Automechanika Moscow has been recognized as the best exhibition in Russia on topic "Cars, bicycles, two-wheeled motor vehicles" in all four nominations: "Exhibition Space", "Professional Interest", "International Recognition" and "Market Coverage".

31 239 people from 77 regions of Russia and 54 countries worldwide have visited MIMS Automechanika Moscow for 4 days of its work. 90% of visitors are industry professionals. 

1107 companies from 36 countries worldwide will exhibit at the Exhibition this year. The Exhibition held in 2015 comprises of the following sections: "Spare parts, car components", "Garage and diagnostics equipment", "Oils, lubricants, cooling liquids", "Lacquers, paints and consumables for repair" and "Washing equipment".

"Truck competence" project launched two years ago will continue its work this year. Car parts for truck will be presented in the scope of this section.

The awarding ceremony of 5th anniversary award "Car Component of the Year 2015" winners organized by "Car Spare Parts and Prices" magazine jointly with "AVTOSTAT" Analysis Agency will be held at the Exhibition ground on August 24 - 25.

The Official Awarding Ceremony of IV International Award "Global Car Components" (GCC) will be held at "Blue" Conference Hall on August 26. This event will traditionally combine the leading Russian and foreign manufacturers of car parts and car components, representatives of specialized magazines, TV channels and analysis agencies.

Business Programme

VI International Moscow Automotive Forum (IMAF) will be held in the scope of the Exhibition Business Programme. The Forum will provide delegates with an opportunity to conduct direct B2B negotiations with car-makers and wholesale buyers as well as to obtain the most relevant information on the trends in the car industry  development, components aftermarket in Russia, project refunding in the industry and localization in the crisis conditions.

IMAF will start its work on August 24. Pre-Show IMAF 2015 will be the opening event for the first time where Tatiana Arabadji, Director, Russian Automative Market Research, will share her forecast of development of the automotive market and car production by 2020. She will also tell about localization prospects and opportunities for suppliers.

On August 25 the Business Programme will continue with Plenary Session "A new stage in the automotive industry in Russia: trends, forecasts, prospects" (Moderator: Alex Zaguskin, Managing Director, AZ Enterprise). The following persons will present their reports: Bo Andersson, President, Avtovaz; Marcus Osegowitsch, General Director, Volkswagen Group Rus; Kirill Epstein, Managing Director, Gaz Group; Jaron Wiedmaier, General Director, Continental Tires; Andrey Tomyshev, Automotive Sector Leader, EY (CIS) B.V. and other competent speakers. The key reports at the Plenary Session will be dedicated to the following topics: "Russian automotive market: current state and outlook", "State support measures and their effectiveness", "Adaptation of strategies and possible scenarios", "Manufacture of new products as an anti-crisis measure".

Session 1: Localization in times of crisis will be held on the same day. Moderator: Igor Morzharetto, automotive expert. The key topics for discussion are: "Prospects of component localization: engines and gearboxes, electronics and air-conditioning systems",   "Commercial arbitration and automotive industry: risk policy in association with suppliers

Session 2: Aftermarket Development In Russia will be held at the same time. Moderator: Sergey Udalov, Operations Director, AA "Autostat". At the Session the experts will discuss automotive component market trends, parallel import and component manufacturers cases. "Financing and refinancing in automotive industry"
discussion will become the final event at the Forum. Moderator: Joerg Bongartz, Chairman of the Board, Deutsche Bank Russia. Experts will discuss a wide range of issues: financing for sustainable growth in the automotive industry (challenges and best practices), restructuring of loan portfolios of auto dealers in current conditions, opportunities for refinancing. The Session speakers: Georgy Ivanin, Analyst on Transport and Industrials, Deutsche Bank in Russia, Michael Ayoub, Principle Investment Officer and other experts.

AGORA Conference Area will become an individual block of the Business Programme. It is a series of seminars, workshops, round table discussions, presentations and training events that will be held on August  24 - 27. Over 20 speakers - competent industry experts will take part in AGORA. Aleksandr Kazachenko, the head of the regional areas of "Audatex", will tell about relationships of auto services and insurance companies. Artem Kashehlebov, The Motors CEO, will describe the main methods of promoting auto-service with the help of today's Internet tools. Nikolay Yankovskii, Head of Network Development Servoce, Bosch Auto Service, will; tel about increase in profitability of service stations.
